Inspired by a chance moment from 1989 when Backstage at Blackpool’s Empress ballroom playing a legendary set with the Roses, Ian tapped a photographer on the shoulder with an orange in his mouth, it was a just a moment that was snapped but it’s one of the most iconic images of Ian from that era. This is my version and I’ve added one of Ian’s most impressive lyrics from his solo years.
